Vega Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes the achievements of creative design, video production, and advertising companies. With profound respect for the professionals who are the driving force behind the global digital communications industry, they seek to reward the ‘brightest stars’ in the world of digital communications, naming the competition ‘Vega’, after the brightest star in the galaxy. Flashframe Digital Media is honoured to receive the Arcturus and Centauri Awards for two of our recent video productions.
The 2016 competition attracted over 1,100 submissions from 30 countries throughout the world, all judged by a carefully selected panel of internationally esteemed creative professionals. Through a blind judging protocol, they identified the most innovative and creative concepts, the strongest executions, and the highest quality in the digital media.
The Arcturus Award was granted in the Animation category for the Bruce Power BRIMS Tool video. This production launched the ground-breaking new Bruce Reactor Inspection Maintenance Tool, using 3D animation techniques to clarify the complex system for its target audience of international nuclear industry stakeholders.
In the Non Profit category, Easter Seals Camp Woodeden won a Centauri Award. The video illustrates how meaningful the Easter Seals camp experience is to a child with a physical disability, highlighting how they feel, the types of activities, the facilities, and the importance of donor funding.
The team at Flashframe is very proud of this professional recognition of the effort and talent that created these productions, but we also thank our clients for their confidence in us as we brought these stories to life. Their work is our inspiration.
